First UMC is going to make Flood Buckets to help care for the most vulnerable people during times of crisis. You've read about the floods in Kentucky. We also are in hurricane season. Providing materials to help people clean up after a flood is a direct, tangible way we can help.
So, we are going to gather supplies. You do not need to get everything on the list. Getting one listed item will be a big help.
If you can't drop the supplies off at the church when it is open, then you may leave them the white container by the back entrance.
Buckets will be taken to the UMCOR Depot at New Dover UMC in Edison.

First UMC has a booth in the food tent, and we're excited to get back. Our specialty is sausage, pepper, and onion sandwiches, but we have added sloppy joe sandwiches to the mix, brownies, and watermelon - and we have an assortment of beverages.
There is something everyone can do during the Fair, whether you're a kid, a youth, or an adult: work in the kitchen, provide transportation for food and utensils, serve in our booth at the Fair, and more.
